We are Founding Fathers Firearms

The go-to small business for all your firearms needs

Our Story

After many years working as Firefighters, EMTs, Paramedics, and Nurses; the members of the Founding Fathers Firearms family witnessed the aftermath of “not having a gun and needing one” too many times. We realized that the founding members of this country wrote into our constitution an amendment that protects our right to defend ourselves. The best way of doing that is with firearms.

In 2017 we began the process of obtaining a Federal Firearms License. In the beginning of 2018 the ATF approved our FFL and we began working towards providing quality firearms to law abiding citizens around the country.

In 2021 we began the long and painful process of opening a larger retail store in New Hampshire for a multitude of reasons. We found a nice space in an old building right on Main St in Epping, NH. After almost 8 months we finally had received our new FFL and began operations.

We want to help people learn about firearms, how to choose the best one for them individually, and how to use it effectively.

Our Mission

Over the years, the Founding Fathers team has visited many gun shops around the country. From big chains to tiny backwoods shops and everything inbetween.

We noticed that many shops favor their regular customers and sometimes can be dismissive towards newer shooters, women, and unfamiliar customers. We believe that everyone who we encounter should be treated the same no matter what.

Our Mission is to be your preferred place for all your firearm needs. We want you to be able to walk through the door knowing that you’re going to receive the same treatment regardless of whether you are an old friend or a complete stranger.

We believe in quality and that’s what we sell. If we wouldn’t use it or buy it then we won’t stock it. The only time we will have something for sale that doesn’t meet our high standards is if it has historical/collectible value (E.G. Type 94 Nambu) or if it was brought in on consignment.

Gunner Newbury

Greeter/Fluffy Boy

Gunner is a Australian Shepard (not a mini) puppy. He is extremely friendly and will excitedly greet anyone he sees. He is still trying to learn not to jump to say hello but he thinks he needs to lick your face. He will demand all of your attention and bring you his toys to play with. We have treats for him in the shop if you want to give him one and be his friend.

*If you are deathly allergic to dogs then that sucks because he is not hypoallergenic. So you probably should take the necessary precautions if you wish to visit and he is here.
