The go-to small business for all your firearms needs
After many years working as Firefighters, EMTs, and Paramedics; the members of the Founding Fathers Firearms family witnessed the aftermath of “not having a gun and needing one” too many times. We realized that the founding members of this country wrote into our constitution an amendment that ensures the right to defend ourselves with firearms.
So in 2017 we began the process of obtaining a Federal Firearms License. In the beginning of 2018 the ATF approved our FFL and we began working towards providing quality firearms to law abiding citizens around the country. We want to help people learn about firearms, how to choose the best one for them individually, and how to use it effectively.
Over the years, the Founding Fathers team has visited many gun shops around the country. From big chains to tiny backwoods shops and everything inbetween.
We noticed that many shops favor their regular customers and sometimes can be dismissive towards newer shooters, unfamiliar customers, and women. We believe that everyone who we encounter should be treated the same no matter what.
We promise to never tell a woman she should buy a revolver because “woman don’t have the hand strength to pull back the slide on a smemi-auto”. We will never tell a new gun owner that the firearm they are interested in will “melt in a hot car”. We believe the only time anything should be discouraged is if it impeads our customer’s safety.
