Please fill out your information below to receive a copy of our FFL.
Before initiating the transfer process, it’s essential to get in touch with Founding Fathers Firearms to inform them about your intention to transfer a firearm. You can reach out to them via phone 603-697-7104 or email [email protected]Â to discuss the details of the transfer and any specific requirements they may have.
Step 2: Gather Required Information
To facilitate the transfer process, we will need to gather some essential information, including:
-
- Your personal details (name, address, contact information)
-
- Details of the firearm you intend to transfer (make, model, serial number)
-
- Any pertinent documentation related to the firearm (purchase receipt, ownership documents)
Having this information readily available will streamline the transfer process and ensure everything moves smoothly.
Step 3: Arrange for Firearm Shipment
Once you’ve coordinated with Founding Fathers Firearms and gathered all the necessary information, you’ll need to arrange for the shipment of the firearm to their location. Ensure that you comply with all federal and state laws regarding the shipping of firearms to avoid any legal complications.
Step 4: Visit Founding Fathers Firearms  for Background Check
Once the firearm has been delivered to our location, you will need to visit Founding Fathers Firearms to complete the transfer process. Below are the fees for the transfer:
- Â A transfer fee is $15.00 for the 1st & 2nd transfer plus $5.00 FDLE (TOTAL IS $21.05 after tax)
- 3+ transfers: $10.00 plus $5.00 FDLE (TOTAL IS 15.07 after tax)
During your visit, you will undergo the required background check as per Founding Fathers Firearms state law. Once the background check is completed, and all necessary paperwork is processed, the firearm will be transferred to you legally.
Step 5: Complete Transfer Paperwork
Before leaving Founding Fathers Firearms premises, ensure that you complete all necessary paperwork related to the firearm transfer. This may include filling out a transfer form, providing identification, and signing any required documents.
Step 6: Take Possession of the Firearm
Once all paperwork is completed and the background check has been approved, you will be able to take possession of the transferred firearm. If you are delayed on the background check for any reason, you will be notified once we have the approval and can schedule another day to pick up your firearm.Â

SEND US YOUR TRACKING NUMBERS FOR YOUR TRANSFERS!
First off, thank you for choosing Founding Fathers Firearms Inc. to do your transfer. Please read through this and hopefully it will answer any questions you may have.
TRANSFER FEES:
-
Guns: $20.00 for the up to 3 firearms.
-
Guns Ordered off the Website: $0. You buy from us, you’re not paying for an extra transfer fee.
-
Military/First Responders: Active/Retired Military, Law Enforcement, Firefighters, and EMS are not charged for inbound transfers. They are $0.00.
-
Multi-Form (Report of Multiple Sale or Other Disposition of Pistols and Revolvers): Transfer fee plus additional $25.00. This form sucks, we hate it, and we have to do it if you receive 2 or more pistols/revolvers in a 5 business day period. It requires us to go physically do extra work. So for regular folks, $20+$25=$45 For Military/First Responders, $0+$25=$25
-
Box Disposal Fee: If you chose to leave you shipping box and packaging for us to get rid of then we will charge you a $5.00 disposal fee per box. So just take the damn box.
-
Outbound Transfers (shipping guns to another FFL): $20.00 fee plus the actual shipping cost.
- All orders must be picked up within 30 days of receiving notice that your item is available for pickup. After 30 days, Founding Fathers Firearms Inc reserves the right to charge a $15/day storage fee until the accrued storage fee is of greater value than the item or 90 days, whichever comes first, and the item will be considered abandoned and sold to recover associated costs. Individuals on military deployment, extended work related travel, and vacation are exempt from the storage fees but must contact us to let us know.
I JUST BOUGHT A GUN ONLINE. NOW WHAT?
Depending on where you bought the firearm from you won’t really have to do much else. For example, Gunbroker automatically sends a copy of our FFL to the seller/shipper and most of the time will send us an email telling us we have been selected to receive said firearm. Other online retailers such as Palmetto State Armory, Midway, Aim Surplus, Guns.com, etc. also have our license on file and will ship your order to us without any extra steps.
However not everywhere does this and the ones that do don’t always let us know. If you order from somewhere that doesn’t have our license on file, we will need to send them a copy. Some companies will reach out to us or will send you a email with instructions and you can forward that email to us. We will take care of it.
DO YOU GUYS GET A TRACKING NUMBER?
Very rarely do we ever receive tracking. In fact, we’re more likely to be killed by a dairy cow (they kill 20-22 per year in the US) than receive tracking. So when you receive a tracking number please forward it to us at [email protected] so we can hopefully prevent any issues such as missed deliveries or issues with the delivery drivers.
E.G. USPS delivers to our address 2-3 hours before we even open and have neglected to leave a delivery notice on multiple occasions.
I SEE MY FIREARM WAS DELIVERED VIA THE TRACKING NUMBER. CAN I COME GET IT?
Once your firearm(s) are logged in, you will receive a notification that it is ready for you. We can get anywhere from 1-30+ firearms in at one time. Once the firearm(s) are logged in you are more than welcome to come in and start filling out the paperwork so we can run the background check.
I ALREADY BOUGHT THE GUN ONLINE. WHAT PAPERWORK DO I NEED TO DO?
Contrary to popular belief, you have to fill out a Form 4473 every time you buy/transfer a firearm (or multiple firearms at once) and undergo a background check. This is unavoidable. Once your firearm(s) arrive you have to come in and fill out the 4473. You can not come in prior to your orders arrival and pre fill out the 4473. You will need a form of picture I.D. and proof of NH residency issued by a Government entity (NH Drivers License counts as both) in order to fill out the 4473. Once submitted, there are three answers the background check can give us.
Proceed, you’re good to take your firearms(s) home.
Delay, the FBI or NH Gun Line has to do more research. This can be for a number of reasons. This delay can be anywhere from 30 minuets to 4 days, everyone is different. Due to the BSCA, all background checks on persons 18-20 years old will automatically be delayed and can be delayed up to 10 business days.
Denied*, you can not take the firearm(s) because you are a prohibited person or there was a mistake by the FBI/Gun Line and we can not move forward until you successfully appeal the decision.
If you receive a Denial or the transfer process is cancelled due to any circumstance, you will be responsible for paying any and all shipping fees in order to send the firearm back for a refund depending on the seller’s policies. We will not refund you for your purchase from another retailer nor will we ship anything for free.
