May 2026 Newsletter.

It’s time for everyone’s favorite newsletter! If you are subscribed to the email list then you already saw this, you aren’t subscribed then you should be. I’m going to test out 1 massive monthly newsletter with everything in it instead of weekly/hourly BS. I’m also introducing “Show and Tell” Quick little thing where you guys get to show off a cool/special gun in your collection with some anonymity. Anyways, lets kick this pig and get into it.

News:

  • Ruger is releasing the an “A cut” and Aimpoint COA optic mounted. MSRP is $1100.
  • Glock is releasing the Gen6 43X with new metal 15 round magazines and also has an Aimpoint COA. MSRP of $1100.
  • Steiner entered the game of small enclosed emitter red dots with the MPSC, uses the RMSc footprint and has an aluminum housing. MSRP of $575. Looks neat, kinda want one myself.
  • HK coming out with the VP9CC micro compact. Comes with a 10 round and 12 round extended mag and is optics ready with a very proprietary mounting system (google it, it’s weird). But it does have the option to come with a Vortex Defender CCW. MSRP of $1050 and $1400 for the one with Vortex included.
  • Springfield announced a 4″ version of the SA35 (Hi Power Clone) which is cool but it only has 1 mag which is dumb. MSRP of $800.
  • Henry announced the “Bear’s Leg” (like the mare’s leg) pistols. Featuring a sub 14″ barrel thats threaded, You can get it in 30-30, .357, .44, and “the only government I trust” .47-70. MSRP of $1130.
  • Ruger is out here making noise abiut their wrong handed American Ranch rifles. So if your in that 10% of the population then you have more options now.
  • For those of you with disposable income, B&T Switzerland announced their intention to move to the US and open up a manufacturing facility which would make B&T USA pointless.
  • Beretta announced the Cheetah 80X Comp Edition which looks pretty sick. It has a couple of upgrades but most notably a comp that doesn’t look like dog shit. Comes in .380 and has an MSRP of $1049.
  • Springfield has a new 9mm 5″ PDW in the Victor line. Takes Colt Mags, You can get it for the whopping $1400 MSRP. Why get a Kuna when you can get this…..thing?
  • Colt is getting into the optics game with their new division, Colt Optics (clever name). They have 3 adjustable power scopes available, We’ll see if they do anything amazing. MSRPs range from $1760-2000.
  • FN announced a new pistol [sized] optic called the pure view. It is the first micro holographic red dot which is cool. BUT it has a proprietary mounting foot print which is just plain stupid. RMR foot print is king. MSRP of $750.
  • Smith & Wesson is bringing back the Bodyguard .38spl. I know some of you were a little bummed when those went away but an updated version is always welcome. Still has a 5 round chamber but is lighter in weight. MSRP of $449 which is pretty solid for a pocket .38.
  • Colt Partnered up with CNC Firearms to bring back The Boa. You snake gun fans will know the original Boa was a limited run of 1200 units. You can grab it in a 6″ or 4.25″ configuration, both are chambered in .357. This is supposedly another limited run anf has an MSRP of $2000.
  • For you Ruger LCP Max lovers (there are many of you), Magpul has made a grip module for it. I had no idea it could swap grip mods but it’s neat that the LCP Max has that option. MSRP of $40 which is fucking awesome in today’s economy.
  • Unit Solutions has made a training “Glock” similar to a Simunition gun. It uses an 8mm projectile and CO2. The company says it is compatible with your holsters and other accessories and is even optic cut. Many moons ago I had a lot of fun with something similar and am curious how this company compares. MSRP of $750 for the RMR cut and $770 for the ACRO/DPP mounts.
  • The Ruger vs Beretta fight has come to an end with Beretta getting “permission” to buy up to 25% of the company but Ruger affirms it will remain a “independent US company”.
  • Willson Combat has released the Bulwark which has some weird but good (maybe?) features. It is an internal hammer fired 9mm with a 4″ hand fit barrel. 15 round proprietary mags which is kinda dumb but whatever, 1911 style trigger, and is optics ready. Most interestingly it has a chassis style FCG which would allow for future grip mods and WC claims it fits Glock 19 holsters (very cool if true). MSRP of $1900 which to be honest, I thought was going to be higher.
  • Orthos Arms (never heard of her), has released a 12ga AR style “firearm” or an SBS if you get it with the stock. 3″ chamber with an 11″ barrel. It’s a neat concept. It does however have a very cheesy “joker smile” on the mag well. Give it a google, you’ll see what I mean. MSRP of $1800.
  • And lastly, ATF got a new director who has announced 34 regulatory reforms that are actually positive. We still need clarification on a lot of them but these appear to be very good things. Hopefully we’ll have more information on that in the near future.

Shop Updates & Announcements:

  • I have 2 Glock 19 Gen6 pistols. These have been moderately difficult to get but one of my Reps is a man amongst men and hooked me up so shout out to Hunter! Unlike many other sellers you may find on the internet, I am not a piece of shit and will not spike the price because they are a bit scarcer than other guns. You guys are getting the heads up before they go on the web store. Price is $620.00 each.
  • We will be closed 5/31 to 6/10. Anything transfers that are sent to us during this time will be held by the respective carrier service. DO NOT CALL, TEXT, OR EMAIL SAYING ‘WhErE GöN?”. Don’t test me. I will do unspeakable things to your gun(s).
  • Thanks to a dick head named Kevin we’ve increased our fraud detection. Kevin is a giant piece of shit who tries to use stolen credit card information and has been trying with little to no success on multiple websites. Little known fact, gun shop owners talk to each other. Many of us are friends. So we knew about Kevin even before he tried buying $6-10,000 thermals. If you go to place and order and it fails regardless of you putting it all in right. Just try again and if that fails, reach out and we’ll assist you.
  • UPS has informed me that they will not be picking up any firearms being shipped out until a “contract” is signed with their company. You might be asking yourself “why not use Fedex or USPS?” They aren’t as reliable when it comes to pick up. Hopefully this is a short process because in the mean time we’ll need to bring any outgoing packages to a drop off location in the next town over.
  • The Owners of F3 Defense stopped by a few weeks back and introduced themselves. They are a less lethal defense system company located in South Windham, ME. Amongst the cool things they make is an OC/CS aerosol grenade. Let me know if you want more info or are interested in their OC/CS products.
