The Remington Rolling Block rifle is a renowned single-shot, breech-loading rifle known for its simple, robust, and reliable design. Over it’s lifetime if was chambered in 25+ caliber both black and smokeless powder.
This is a Remington No. 1-1/2, these were made in a variety of calibers and were intended to be lightweight hunting rifles. The receivers are designed to be smaller and weigh less than that of the No.1 or No.2 while retaining the same strength. This rifle was professionally re-barreled at some point and now features a brand new octagon barrel chambered in .32-20win and new rear sight.
